Summer is here, my children are at home all the time, mostly they're playing basketball, chess, computer games and watching movies; mother as I am, I see to it that a nutritious and delightful snacks will be planned and be served to them.
Today, I served them a native delicacy (KAKANIN), PUTO CHEESE!
INGREDIENTS:
2 CUPS ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
1/2 CUP WHITE SUGAR
1 TBSP + 1.5 TSP BAKING POWDER
1/4 TSP SALT
1 3/4 CUPS FRESH MILK/EVAP MILK
2 PCS EGGS
1 TSP VANILLA (OPTIONAL)
1 PACK CHEESE (FOR FILLING AND TOPPING)
GARNISH WITH BUKAYO OR MORE CHEESE
GARNISH WITH BUKAYO OR MORE CHEESE
HOW:
- COMBINE ALL DRY INGREDIENTS IN A BOWL
- IN SEPARATE BOWL, BEAT SUGAR AND EGGS , WHEN CORPORATE ADD MILK
- GRADUALLY ADD DRY INGREDIENTS
- POUR 1/2 OF THE MIXTURE IN A MOLDER OR DISH PUT READILY SLICED CHEESE
- POUR THE LAST HALF OF THE MIXTURE AND ARRANGE SLICED CHEESE ON TOP
- STEAM TIL DONE
